Community Service Kamarajar Birth Anniversary – Educational Support to Government School On the occasion of the 124th Birth Anniversary of Perunthalaivar K. Kamarajar, observed on 15 July 2026, the Rotary Club of Chennai Lake City organized an educational service project at the Villivakkam Panchayat Union Primary School, Ayapakkam, at 10:30 AM. In remembrance of Kamarajar's immense contribution to education and the welfare of school children, the Club donated three book racks, Library Books, teaching aids, and stationery to the school. The initiative aims to strengthen the school's learning resources, encourage reading habits among students, and provide a more conducive learning environment. The project was led by Club President Rtn. P. Jaganathan and Secretary Rtn. M. Kumaran, with the gracious presence of Charter President Rtn. A.L. Elango and PP Rtn. Chandrasekar. The Headmistress, teachers, and students of the school actively participated in the programme. During the event, the importance of education and the inspiring legacy of Perunthalaivar K. Community Service Sponsoring Wooden Racks and Teaching Aids to Govt School The club sponsored four big wooden racks to safe guards the schools records and keeping library books and also various teaching aids to the Chennai Govt Higher Secondary school, Athipet, Chennai - 58 on 01.07.2026.
